كلب وايند هاوند كلب ذو شخصية مرحة و نشيطة فهو دائماً يحب ان يكون محل الانظار
و كثيرا ما يحب اللعب مع الاطفال و بإمكانة تقبل الغرباء و الحيوانات و هو كلب ذو لياقة بدنية عالية
و جيد في التمرين و سريع الاستاجة لكن مشكلة لان لا يحب ان يكرر التمرين مرارا و تكرار لان ذلك يشعرة بالملل فهو يحب التغيير و يتميز بفراءة الطويل و جسمة النحيل و الممشوق القوام .

هو من الكلاب العاملة وهو ذو فرو سميك و لدية مخالاب ناعمة تمكنة من التمسك بجذع الشجرة
ويستخدم لصيد الطرائد الصغيرة و كون حجمة صغير الا انة جيد في الحراسة و حمياة الممتلكات
و يحب ان يحمي اصحابة و عائلة و جيد مع الاطفال و يمتاز بالحيوية ولا تناسبة حياة الحيوان الاليف الذي يكتفي بالاكل و المداعبة و النوم الا انه كلب عملي يحب العمل بنشاط و مناسب لرحلات الصيد .

هذا الكلب هو أحد الكلاب العاملة ذات الحجم الضحم ونوعه أفريقي لدية قوة و طاقة كبيرة
ويستمد تلك القوة من عضلات جسدة البارزة و التي تبث الرعب في عيون خصومة و على الرغم من هذه الضخامة و القوة الا انه ذو شخصية دودة و لطيفة و حنون في التعامل مع الاطفال و جيد في الحراسة و الحماية فهو من النوع المحب للعائلة و لسيدة و يحب قضاء وقتة مع سيدة
والغريب انه يستطيع التعامل مع الحيوانات الاخرى بالاضافة للغرباء .
